We know you’re all anxiously waiting for our convention to return for LOUISIANA RETRO CON FALL 2023. We’ve also had some fans inquire about a summer event. For the past several weeks, we’ve been preparing and planning something very special to tide the wait until our next big show.
We’re exciting to be unveiling our first-ever spinoff event in collaboration with Wayback's Arcade: LOUISIANA RETRO EXCHANGE! This event will be taking place on July 29th, 2023 from 11 AM - 5 PM at Wayback’s Arcade in Pineville, LA!
You may be asking yourself, what’s a Louisiana Retro Exchange in contrast to the bi-annual Louisiana Retro Con? To bridge the gap between large shows, this offers fans a more affordable experience during the summertime. There is NO COVER CHARGE for this event, and the style of this show will be more of a micro con/swap meet. The only charge will be if you’d like to play the arcade games inside of the facility. Wayback’s Arcade will have 100’s of video games across the ages indoors for you to be able to play ALL DAY LONG for a very nominal fee.
Outside, we will have several vendors and exhibitors underneath the facility’s sheltered pavilion. For those not wishing to vend, there will ALSO be an OPEN-TRADE area available for attendees looking to just trade amongst each other!
